Charity is the way of bringing justice to society. Kerala Muslim Welfare Association has, therefore, laid the greatest emphasis on the support of destitute and disabled members of society. The Association believes in the theory that it is the sacred duty of the wealthy to give part of their possessions to fulfil the needs of the deprived sections of the society. A society can flourish only when its members do not spend all their income on the satisfaction of their own desires but reserve a portion of it for parents, relatives, neighbours, the poor and the incapacitated. A true human being is thus always prepared, after meeting the needs of his family to assist other people in need of his help. The Association, therefore, comes in the forefront for extending all possible assistance to the downtrodden and distressed members of the society. This year with the assistance of "Thanal" an organization working for the welfare of the downtrodden people, Kerala Muslim welfare Association could distribute the relief food materials to 500 destitute and deserving families or Thahirpur Leprosy Colony in Delhi. Let Allah, the Almighty bless everybody who associated with this charity act.
