Review of Kerala Islamic Centre Construction by Patron Padmashree M A Yussufali

Padmashree Mr. M.A. Yussuffali, Patron of the Kerala Muslim Welfare Association, Delhi reviewed the ongoing construction activities of the Kerala Islamic Centre, Institutional Area, Mayur Vihar Phase 1, Delhi. The Executive Members of the Association briefed him on the status, requirements and the strategic planning for carrying out the construction activities and also for effectively utilizing the Centre as a real Centre of Excellence for health, educational and social upliftment of the downtrodden sections of the society. They have also highlighted the simultaneous construction work of the Delhi Metro in the vicinity and the benefit the Kerala Islamic Centre and its visitors can avail due to the proposed Metro Station 50 meters away from the Centre. Mr. Yussuffali expressed his happiness on the activities of Kerala Muslim Welfare Association and also promised his full support and cooperation for making the longtime dream of Keralites in Delhi fulfilled. Mr. KK Basheer, President, Mr. AT Sainudin, Vice President, Mr. Mansoor Kattanam, Secretary and other members attended the meeting held in World Trade Tower, Connaught Place, New Delhi today, 07.11.2013.

Quality Improvement Program for Madrassa Education - Distribution of Books 15th September 2013

Distribution of Notebooks, Pencils, Erasers and sharpeners for Madrassa Students of Bengali Market Masjid for pursuing their studies of English, Science & Mathematics under the Quality Improvement Program for Madrassas by the Kerala Muslim Welfare Association, Delhi.  

Started during 2008, the program is now running successfully for more than 5 years and has been extended to the second Madrassa under the Masjid in Adchini, Aurobindo Marg, New Delhi also.  

The cooperation and support of all the university and IIT students in Delhi from the very beginning for this program has paved a varied path for them in Social Service for the less privileged poor Madrassa students who can hardly dream of such an education from these well educated  and cultured youth.  

The ardent support in the form of spending time, finance and guidance by the respected members of Kerala Muslim Welfare Association, Delhi is making this program a successful one and ensuring consistency for the students.

The Annual Social Get-together for Communal Harmony and Iftar Program

The Annual Social Get-together for Communal Harmony and Iftar Program of Kerala Muslim Welfare Association, Delhi will be held from 5.30 PM onwards on Sunday, 28^th July 2013 in Samaj Sadan, Raja Bazar, Behind Shivaji Stadium & State Emporiums, Connaught Place, New Delhi. 

The Association will also be honouring the meritorious students among the children of the members who have secured the highest percentages of marks in their 12^th Standard Examination held in 2013.
