In association with Indian Society of Emergency Nurses, the KMWA-HCW held "Basic First Aid & Life Support Course" for the common people today, 15th September 2019 in Kerala Islamic Cultural Centre (KICC) of Kerala Muslim Welfare Association, Delhi, Institutional Area, Mayur Vihar Phase 1, New Dellhi.
Capacity building on emergency interventions was done for 22 participants during the program jointly carried out by Mr. Mohammed Jessal, Mr. Fameer and Mr. Janeesh of AIIMS, New Delhi. This is the first public program held in the newly inaugurated KICC of KMWA, Delhi. As has already decided and announced during the inauguration of the Cenre, the Basic Life Support program is scheduled to be held on every first Sunday of alternative months in the Centre and will be open to common public to participate and get equipped with the skill for saving life of others requiring emergency interventions. Ms. Roopa Rawat, Specialist Rheumatology Nurse at ISIC distributed the certificates to the participants.
Mr. AK Shamsudeen, Joint Secretary said the vote of thanks to the trainers and the trainees participated.
