Kerala Muslim Welfare Association, Delhi conducted a family get-together and Picnic today, i.e., 3rd April 2011 in Nehru Park, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi. Along with different competitions for children and adults a career counseling session for adolescent children was also held by two economists during the Picnic. It is decided to continue holding further career counseling sessions on regular intervals for children of members of the Association. Prizes were distributed to all winners of the competitions. A sensitization session on Palliative Care was also held for the participants of the Picnic. Shri Basheer KK, President, Shri A.T. Sainudin, Vice President, Shri Mansoor Kattanam, Secretary and Shri Anas PK, Treasurer of the Association took lead in activities during Picnic. Mr. Abubakar, Executive Member coordinated the entire activities of children during the picnic.

ReplyDeleteAssociation needs to arrange session/classes of eminent sociologists/psychologist on family life to address issues creating turbulances in families, especially nuclear families in metropolitan cities.
