Communication from Mr. PS Naushad, Returning Officer, KMWA, Delhi

Dear respected Members,

First of all let me thank the Kerala Muslim Welfare Association for nominating me as the Returning Officer for the Selection/Election, as the case may be, to be held during the Annual General Body Meeting of the Association scheduled to be held on 19th January 2020 in the Kerala Islamic Cultural Centre, MayurVihar Phase 1.

As all of you are aware, this over three decade old Associationis now at its peak of activities including setting up of its own Centre and with the concerted efforts of all members of the association and the benefactors an enviable track record has been created so far. 

As far as the Selection/Election to the Executive Body of the association to be conducted during the General Body meeting starting at 3.00 PM on 19.01.2020 in Kerala Islamic Cultural Centre is concerned, the following are conveyed for your information;

1.            The Members of the Association are welcome to make the panel of probable candidates to be nominated unanimously by the General Body members present and nominating/voting for all the 5 posts of office bearers and the 11 Executive Members.

2.            In case of double nomination to any post selection will be done through election from the candidates by showing support and head count thereon or secret ballot voting. 

3.            The electoral roll of the live members of the Association as on 30^th December 2019duly signed by both the existing President and Secretary of the Association and provided to me on or before 15^th January 2020 shall be considered to decide the right of voting of the members and also published in KMWA Blog www.kmwadelhi.blogspot.in by 5.00 PM on 15.01.2020.

4.            In addition to the Nominations for panel, individual nominations can also be given for each post of the Executive Committee.

5.            Nominations in the format given under shall be accepted from 10.00 AM on 16th January to 5.00 PM on 17th of January 2020 to be handed over to the Caretaker of the Kerala Islamic Cultural Centre in MayurVihar Phase 1.

6.            Nominations also can be emailed to the email ID naushadsulaiman@ymail.com between the above mentioned time schedule.

7.            Nominations can be withdrawn till 5.00 PM on 18^th January 2020 either through email or by handing a letter to that effect to the Caretaker of the Kerala Islamic Cultural Centre and thereafter it will be scrutinized. 

8.            List of Nominations received till 5.00 PM on 18^th January 2020 and scrutinized shall be published in KMWA Blog www.kmwadelhi.blogspot.inby 10.00 AM on 19.01.2020.

9.            There shall be no limit for a member in nominating the candidates.

10.          No proxy voting shall be allowed.
