A condolence meeting was held on 23rd February 2025 at KMWA Building, Mayur Vihar Phase 1, Pocket 3, Delhi consequent on the sad demise of Mr. KM Jamaludheen, the former President of Kerala Muslim Welfare Association on 19th Febrary 2025 at his home in Thalassery, Kerala. Mr. Ajmal Mufeed, Secretary of the Association presided over the program and many members of the organization fondly remembered Mr. Jamaludheen who was the third President of the Association. It was during his tenure as President, the famous Mappila Kalotsavam '96 was conducted by the Kerala Muslim Welfare Association, Delhi at the Siri Fort Auditorium thereby showcasing the art and culture of traditional Kerala in this Capital City of Delhi for the art and heritage lovers. With a determination and hard work, Mr. Jamaludheen proven his mettle as the head of the organization in successfully conducting that cultural extravaganza and thereby substantiating the existence of the organization in the minds of not only all the members of the association but also every other Malayali who loves the art and culture.
The members of the Association narrated their close interactions and good experiences with Mr. Jamaludheen whom everybody considered like their elder brother in one or the other perspective.
Mr. Muhammed Ali, Treasurer of the Association coordinated the event and Adv. Muhammed Sidheeque, Joint Secretary said vote of thanks.
