Independence Day Celebration by KMWA, Delhi at its KICC, Pocket 1, Phase 1, Mayur Vihar, New Delhi at 10.00 AM on 15th August 2021

 

 


The programme of Independence Day Celebration by Kerla Muslim Welfare Association at 10.00 AM on 15th August 2021 at Kerala Islamic Cultural Centre, Institutional Area, Pocket 1, Phase 1, Mayur Vihar was presided over by Shri Mansoor Kattanam, Secretary, KMWA and he welcomed the participants.  

The Chief Guest was Shri Mohammed Faizal P.P., Hon'ble Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) from Lakshadweep.  The National flag was hoisted by Shri Mohammed Faizal and delivered his speech recollecting the struggle our great freedom fighters undergone in getting the freedom we are able to enjoy now.   He emphasized the requirement of educationally uplifting the downtrodden sections of the society.  He has also highlighted the point that the Kerala Islamic Cultural Centre is situated in such an institutional area where both Mandir and Church are also there side by side and as such gives the true picture of India having pluralistic society.  

He handed over the certificates of appreciation and Mementos to the Covid Warriors among the Members of Kerala Muslim Welfare Association, who made their all out efforts in supporting the suffering Covid patients through the Help Desk set up for the purpose by the Association during the second wave of pandemic in Delhi.  

He has also announced the online Career Guidance Programme envisaged by Kerala Muslim Welfare Association and scheduled to be started from 05th September 2021, National Teacher's Day as under:

"Kerala Muslim Welfare Association, Delhi with its endeavour of promoting education and career empowerment of the children of the downtrodden sections of the Society in General and members of the association in particular would like to announce its online/offline Monthly Career Guidance Programme scheduled to be started from 5th September 2021, the National Teacher’s Day.  The highly committed professionals of myriad fields, engaged in different sectors, from among the members of the Association and outside, shall be imparting the classes in online mode on career perspectives of their own fields and potential.
 

The classes will be from 5.00 PM to 7.00 PM on the first Sunday of every month initially in online mode and the frequency shall be increased, if required later on.  Similarly, it may also be switched over to offline mode, if the Covid-19 situation improves and physical distancing norm goes off in Delhi, from the Kerala Islamic Cultural Centre of the Association in Mayur Vihar Phase 1, Pocket 1, Delhi.  The participation for the classes is open to all and will be free of any charges.  The students will only be required to register online and follow the terms and conditions of online mode prescribed in the brochure for registration."   Shri Shamsudheen AK, Joint Secretary spoke on the occasion and said vote of thanks.
